Strategy

As the University transitioned from our legacy financial data infrastructure, the Enterprise Finance reporting strategy was created to lay the groundwork and framework for financial reporting across the University. The authors of the document, Fin-X, are a cross-functional, interdisciplinary group with representation from the following organizations:

• UW-IT Enterprise Reporting and Analytics (ERA)
• Finance DATAGroup
• Finance Transformation (FT)
• Integrated Service Center (ISC)
• Office of Planning and Budgeting (OPB)
• Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS)
• UW Medicine (UWM)

This document details our enterprise-wide strategy, roles, responsibilities, triage, delivery, and more, giving all those working with finance data a unified approach to financial reporting at the University. To download the document, click here.
